About

GBS FM 104.3, the Guimarasnon Broadcasting Service, has served as the voice of Guimaras for listeners across the island province, from Jordan and Buenavista to San Miguel and the farthest barangays reached by our signal. What began as a small community station grew out of a simple mission: to keep Guimarasnons informed, connected, and proud of home, no matter how far the nearest town plaza might be.

Every day, our programming brings together the news and public service Guimaras depends on. Balita segments cover local government, agriculture, and community events as they happen, while our Panawagan alerts carry urgent notices, from blood donation drives to storm and power interruption advisories, straight to households and sari-sari stores with a radio tuned in. Alongside the news, our schedule makes room for the music, drama, and conversation that make island life feel a little closer together.

As a community station, GBS FM 104.3 sees its role as more than broadcasting. We aim to be a platform for local voices, a partner to provincial and municipal offices in times of need, and a steady companion for farmers, fisherfolk, students, and families throughout Guimaras. Whether it is mango harvest updates, provincial sports coverage, or a public service announcement that cannot wait, we try to be there first and stay reliable.

Guimaras is a small province with a strong sense of community, and we work to reflect that on air. This page will be updated with more about our history, our team, and how to reach us as the station continues to grow alongside the listeners who make Guimarasnon Broadcasting Service part of their day.
